Business Tax
Businesses are required to file annually a Business Gross Receipts Tax Return and Business License Renewal. Commercial property owners are considered businesses and must report rental income.

Earned Income Tax
The Township of Pine/Pine-Richland School District has a combined tax of 1% on all earned income and net profits. All residents are subject to this tax, whether they own or rent their property.

Recreational Burn Permit
Township Ordinance 301 requires a permit for small recreational fires. There is no charge for a recreational fire permit, and they are valid for a period of six months. Fires for the purposes of land clearing or waste disposal are prohibited by the Allegheny County Health Department. Residents are encouraged to be courteous to their neighbors when conducting any kind of recreational fire.
