The Township of Pine takes great pride in those who have served our country in its times of need. Now, we’d like to invite you to help us honor your friends and family who have served our great country. The Military Banner Pilot Program salutes our brave residents who are currently serving and those who have served in the military by creating and displaying a 24” x 48” military banner to be exhibited on the 67 Township-owned poles throughout the Township between Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
The recognized military official must be a resident of the Township, grew up in the Township, or have family currently residing in the Township, and veterans must be honorably discharged or given their life serving.
This program includes one (1) 24” x 48” double-sided military banner to be displayed by the Township with the nominating party and sponsoring businesses at the bottom of the banner, underneath the picture and military official information.
Selected banners will be displayed for two (2) years. After two (2) years, the banner will be permanently removed and given to the service person or family member. Over time, extreme heat, wind, rain, and other weather may cause banners to rip, crack, or fade. The cost of a banner replacement has been factored into the banner cost.
Businesses in the Township can sponsor a military banner by applying. If the nominating family/friend wishes to purchase the banner without a sponsoring business, you may do so by selecting the appropriate option on this form.
*The program is first come, first served. After 67 applications are received, any remaining applications will automatically be placed in the next display period for 2026.
Applications will be accepted for the 2024/2025 program year until March 29, 2024.
Please submit a completed application with the required attachments below or drop it off at the
Pine Township Municipal Building, 230 Pearce Mill Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
