TOWNSHIP OF PINE- UPDATE 04/01/2020

For the protection of our staff, the Township of Pine has implemented "Social Distancing" to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as recommended by the CDC and the Allegheny County Health Department by restricting public access to our facility. Please call our office 724-625-1591 between 8: 00 AM.- 4:30 PM. for assistance.

TRASH TAG SALES are temporarily Suspended. Tags can be purchased directly from Vogel Disposal.

On Monday, March 23, 2020, Governor Wolf issued a Stay-at-Home order for several counties, including Allegheny County. The order will remain in effect for two weeks. This order emphasizes that individuals in the county should stay at home and distance themselves from others. Therefore, the Township of Pine and the Pince Community Center will close from Tuesday, March 24, 2020, through Monday, April 6, 2020. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.

RE: PINE BUSINESS GROSS RECEIPT TAX
The Township recognizes that these are unprecedented times and many businesses are suffering hardships as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The Township wishes to help mitigate the effects of the crisis by allowing businesses extra time to file and pay the Pine Business Gross Receipts Tax. Accordingly, the deadline for filing the 2020 Township of Pine Business Gross Receipts Tax Returns and payment of the tax has been extended from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020. Any 2020 Gross Receipts Tax Return postmarked by July 15, 2020 will not be assessed penalty and interest.
