Occupant With Autism Stickers

Allegheny County Occupant with Autism

Cindy Kirk, Allegheny County Council Member, District 2, at the July 15, 2019 Board of Supervisors meeting,  presented the "Occupant with Autism" sticker program starting in Allegheny County. Ms. Kirk shared with the Board how the program works, that by placing "Occupant with Autism" stickers in the windows of cars or homes it will notify people approaching the car or the home that there is an occupant with autism and to use care with their approach so a scary, stressful and/or harmful situation is not created.  Ms. Kirk provided the Township and the Pine Community Center with a number of stickers that can be picked up, for no cost, either at the Municipal Building, 230 Pearce Mill Road or the Pine Community Center, 100 Pine Park Drive.  For questions or more information please email, Stephanie Olszewski, or call, 724-625-1636 ext 110.
